  • eForms Landing page (https://eforms.govpilot.com/nj/montclair)
    • This page will serve as the landing page for our customers forms. We will publish all their forms here and they will only need to put one link up on their website.
    • This page is responsive and looks good on all devices (laptop, ipad, tables, iphone, samsung)
    • The url is variable for every account /{state}/{userid}

  • eForms configuration page
    • This page is very configurable
      • Upload a logo
      • Add a page title (default starts with the town name)
      • Update the contact information on the right side
      • Add a banner message
      • Add departments / groups
        • Each department can have a link pointing to their landing page on the municipal website
        • You can add a message below the department name (ex. Announce application deadlines or any important message)
        • Departments can be reordered
        • You can add forms
          • You can overwrite the display name of the form
          • You can reorder them
          • You can change the button colors to match the town’s website theme.

    • You can now quickly filter users based on their role or properties (hidden, isolated)

Enhancements

  • Upgraded Report Engine – To run a report, previously we needed to save it into a folder. Now they are loaded from the database, converted, and updated on the fly (ex. their database connection) based on the environment. The engine will process all sub-reports recursively. This update makes the report generation faster (you can notice the speed difference if you run a report with multiple checklists in Beta and Live) and less error-prone (removes the reported errors coming from publishing them between environments)

    • Now you can add permissions or restrict main menu items

  • Ecommerce test credentials prefilled on the configuration page
    • Now you don’t have to remember test credentials for credit cards, they will be automatically pre-populated when you select your processor

  • eCode360 integration
    • Two-step configuration process:
      • Configure the API credentials. The town needs to contact eCode360 (signup and pay them if needed) and get 3 variables for the API. (Customer Code, API Key, API Secret)
      • Set up the lookup inside the form in designer. (select type ecode360 and map the code and description fields)

  • Enhanced Signature
    • Signature will now be captured as an image, regardless of whether the user types or draws it. The image will also include the timestamp of the signature. You can view the image in dataviewer by exposing the signature field (see below). You can also include the signature in mail merges (master or sub-record) and reports. Please reach out for questions.

  • New Map configuration tab. You can now configure the internal (personal) map and public map to display only certain fields.

  • Fields selected under the My Map tab are applied to the internal map. These are specific to the user who is logged in.

  • Fields selected under the Public Map apply to the account and affect the public map and the public profile (Tax Info tab). The public map has also been updated to match the behavior of the internal map. Clicking a parcel makes it stick and the user must click View Property blue button to view the property profile. The right panel will extend up to the height of the page and it will show a scrollbar if needed.

  • New 3rd Party Integrations tab (see image below)
    • Credit Card Configuration page has moved here
  • ICC Code Integration
    • Modules can now be configured to use a lookup that reads codes from ICC codes instead of another table. This is a two-step setup. First step is to configure the screen below, next is to add the ICC lookup in designer into the form.
    • Just like with credit card processors, the town needs to setup an account with ICC and give us credentials. The credentials below are test credentials that we can use for testing purposes.

  • Bug with default user in form scheduler when the user was not part of the list.
  • Bug with workflows not triggering when the assigned user is public user only.
  • Dynamically identify environment based on subdomain (needed for azure tests)

New Features

  • Public Forms –Now we can display calendar availability on public forms
  • Home - New Help Menu
  • Home - LMS integration (Training link, the link will not be available if you don’t have an LMS account)
  • Home - Guided Tour from the menu
  • Home - Shortcuts (System, Form and Account specific shortcuts, click ctrl + ? to see the list of shortcuts available)
  • Internal Forms - Action button to add another sub-form from a sub-form (ex. You can add an electrical inspection for the same permit by after adding a building inspection. A default form has to be set for each subtable in order to show as an option below) The button will show if the current subtable has other siblings with a default form set.
  • Home - A Log menu to view history of Emails, Payment Transactions and Data Audit. This menu will be available only to users flagged as Admins. The history button in the forms has been renamed to Log

Enhancements

  • DataViewer - Increased visual space by reducing height of each row, decreased spacing in process title and removed footer.
  • DataViewer - New icons for property and form buttons
  • Home - Minimized windows will show a yellow/orange border if it’s part of the menu, or the button if it’s not. Active menu will have the orange icon
  • DataViewer - Alphabetically ordering of Mail Merge list
  • DataViewer - Export button will show and export all or the number of selected rows
  • DataViewer - Transfer button will be hidden for non-property related and sub-records
  • DataViewer - View on Map will be disabled for non-property related records but will show for sub-records

Bugs Fixed

  • Internal Forms - Fixed print toolbar flickering in forms when there are multiple mail merges
  • Internal Forms - Fixed form toolbar to stay fixed when zooming in/out of the browser
  • Internal Forms - Fixed bug with zooming icons
  • Internal Forms - Fixed bug in internal forms that was replacing a money field value with the default value when set by form logic to 0 (ex. when you waive a fee because it’s a hearing dog)
  • Profile - Fixed Mail Merge generation from advanced search and property profile
  • Data Viewer - Grouping. Able to group two fields using Table View Designer. Clearing grouping in data viewer causes error.
  • Home - The Property icon is shown in all recent records, when they shouldn't show up for non-property related forms.
  • Home - The Property Profile is linking to records that are not property related (ex. OPRA)
  • Map - After selecting a parcel and then clicking property details, it brings me to the property profile with no information
  • Map - The X in property details is not functioning, so that you can`t close the property details

New Features

  • Fee Schedule: We can now configure multiple fee schedules to calculate dynamically over time without having to modify form logic
  • Pay later: Accounts can be configured to accept applications and later request payments for the application
  • Display raw data upon form opening. Only UI logic will run (disable tabs, checkboxes, hide/show elements etc)
  • GovAlert can be configured for states & counties
  • Jet can now identify when you go offline and it will show a red bar with a message until you get back online

Enhancements

  • Home – Improved memory utilization by removing unused variables and unnecessary data.
  • Home – Dashboard is a little wider and Recents will be at least 300px tall so users with a small screen will be able to scroll and see records
  • Map – Parcels will now render with full info at zoom level 17
  • Map – Layer panel will now show on the right
  • Map – Plotting records will show a different color every time(you can plot cats and then dogs)
  • Map – Radius & Geography search will start as soon as you expand the tab and end when you click another tab
  • DataViewer – Export button will change its text based on your selection (Export All, Export Selected)
  • DataViewer – Transfer and View on Map are disabled for sub-tables and non-property related processes
  • DataViewer – If there is only 1 form available and it is not set as default, it will open that form

  • Form – Improved logic accuracy by filtering all the events that are supposed to run and then run each one without depending on the previous step
  • Form – Added more allowed extensions (mp4, mpeg, avi) and extensions other than image or pdf will now open in a new tab.
  • Form – Public forms attachment area will now show a scrollbar if there are many attachments.
  • Form – Internal forms will now show left aligned
  • Form – Zoom buttons are now embedded in the toolbar
  • Form – Ability to tab into a lookup table and lookup field
  • Form – Disable the Toolbar until the record is completely loaded
  • Data – Added information for user who created the record (used in user isolation)

Bugs Fixed

  • Login – New users were unable to login
  • Map now works for state account. It renders state boundaries and as you zoom in, counties and municipality boundaries.
  • Map – Map styles are now working properly (previously it was only blue,blue,blue)
  • DataViewer – When grouping, if the result had more than 50 records, it would not bring any. Also now it will bring only 50 groups (max) and 50 records/group
  • DataViewer – When grouping by a date column, those that had a blank date value would now show inside the group
  • DataViewer – Bulk Editing was not triggering a view count
  • DataViewer – Address was not showing in the tab header when opening a record
  • DataViewer – When transferring records, data was not refreshing so if you were to click to go to property profile it would still send you to the old address
  • DataViewer – Trying to configure the same view multiple times would lose track of the current view being edited
  • DataViewer – Dates with values less than 1970 would not show properly
  • DataViewer – If you add/remove a record, the numbers next to the views do not recalculate
  • DataViewer – When Deleting a View, the name goes away but I am still on the same view that I deleted.
  • DataViewer – When attempting to create multiple records, forms would not render properly
  • DataViewer – In Property Finder when attempting to add multiple records by Block/Lot as you add block/lots it does not show the address/block/lot that was selected.
  • DataViewer – User Isolation not working
  • Forms – Balance Remaining field which is a calculated field displays different values in the workflow mail merge, vs the mail merge generated manually in the record
  • Forms – Print application button in the confirmation page does not populate subtables
  • Forms – Summary field would not calculate when deleting the last record
