Middlesex, New Jersey Unifies Its Departments and Streamlines Operations With GovPilot

By govpilot

The Borough of Middlesex, New Jersey and GovPilot, a government management software company, are pleased to announce a partnership to digitize the Borough’s paper processes and unify their departments under one cloud-based platform. Middlesex will be using GovPilot’s software for six of their departments, starting with the Clerks and Code Enforcement.

“We are excited that Middlesex has decided to partner with GovPilot and bring six departments on board,” said Michael Bonner, GovPilot founder and CEO. “Unifying their departments and automating their workflows will have a big impact on their day-to-day processes.”

Currently Middlesex manages its municipal business using paper processes, which is known to affect productivity and processing efficiency, create duplicate work, and increase oversight when completing work manually.

With GovPilot, Middlesex will be able to transform its paper processes into streamlined and automated workflow. The municipality anticipates increased efficiencies, improved productivity, a reduction in manual tasks, real-time updates and robust reporting options with GovPilot’s cloud-based municipal management software.

“By housing all of Middlesex’s departments under one platform, municipal employees will be able to search for an address and view all activities and status updates associated with it – no matter the department that entered it,” said Mr. Bonner. Activity from every department is anchored to individual addresses in GovPilot’s system. Users will be able to access the most up-to-date information available, every time they log into the system, whether from the office or in the field.

After onboarding the Clerks and Code Enforcement Department, Middlesex and GovPilot look forward to implementing streamlined processes and unified databases in the Building/Construction, Assessors, Public Works, and Tax Collector departments.
