Summer  Ends, GovPilot’s Streak of Success Doesn’t

By Alannah Dragonetti

The following August accomplishments prove that though the weather may be cooling-down, things are heating-up for GovPilot!

We Partnered with the ICMA

If you’ve been reading our newsletters, you know that GovPilot has gone international, taking-on our first Canadian client in June. We have the partnerships to prove it! GovPilot is proud to announce that we have recently become a Supporting Partner of the International City/Council Managers Association. Catch us at the organization's annual conference this October, in San Antonio, Texas! Booth 216!

We Eclipsed the Competition

NASA identified client, Hopkinsville, Kentucky, as the ideal place from which to view last month’s total solar eclipse. The city totally embraced the distinction—selling commemorative merchandise, offering discounted hotel room rates to tourists and even temporarily changing the city name from Hopkinsville to Eclipseville! GovPilot fully supported our client’s enthusiasm through the creation of a custom geographic information system (GIS) map layer displaying the best sites from which to take-in the solar eclipse.

We Made NJAC’s August Newsletter

GovPilot’s relationship with the New Jersey Association of Counties is no summer fling! It is still going strong. Our story on GovPilot’s ability to eliminate redundant data entry can be found on pages 16 and 17 of NJAC’s August newsletter.

We Welcomed the Following Clients

Summer is a slow season or many businesses, but not GovPilot’s. The following clients didn’t take a summer vacation from their commitment to upgrading operations:

      • Ocean Beach, NY
      • Ovilla, TX
      • Upper Deerfield, NJ
      • Washington Township, NJ
