GovPilot is pleased to announce the addition of three new team members who will help drive the company to new heights in 2020. Evan Achiron, Vihar Bhanderi, and Jason LeDuc bring a wealth of experience in partnership development, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and strategic communications.

“We are very excited to have Evan, Vihar, and Jason on board as GovPilot looks to expand our services and offerings to local governments across the country,” said GovPilot CEO, Michael Bonner. “The imperative for unified, transparent, and secure digital management processes has never been greater for municipal governments. We look forward to incorporating the deep expertise and insights that each of these new team members will bring to both GovPilot and our clients.”

Evan Achiron - Director of Marketing & Communications: With a background in strategic communications, Mr. Achiron most recently served as the Director of Marketing & Communications for national [natural] disaster resilience and recovery non-profit organization, SBP. While with SBP, he relocated from NYC to the organization’s headquarters in New Orleans. There he lead its re-brand as well as marketing, communications, media relations, and government outreach nationally, and locally following natural disasters across six states. Earlier in his career Mr. Achiron held marketing and communications roles at global knowledge marketplace, GLG, and communications firm, The Glover Park Group. He brings to GovPilot deep experience in brand building, positioning, and thought leadership development, as well as knowledge of the long-term disaster recovery process.

Vihar Bhanderi - Solutions Specialist: Mr. Bhanderi brings diverse experience in IT and software business development from his time with iland and SolarWinds. While at iland, he supported several municipalities, advising them on best practices for securing IT infrastructure and the development of IT disaster recovery plans and protocols. With a knack for problem solving and technical expertise, Mr. Bhanderi brings to GovPilot, an intimate understanding of the needs of municipalities, and the solutions available to them.

Jason LeDuc - Chief Security Officer: With 25+ years of experience focused on cybersecurity, compliance and risk management, Mr. LeDuc has supported and advised thousands of clients with governance, risk and compliance initiatives. Aligning small, medium and enterprise organizations with industry best practices, business integrations and intelligence analytics to successfully transform and secure environments while proactively preparing for today's modern threats. Mr. LeDuc previously led consulting teams specialized in ethical hacking and compliance based services, while supporting Fortune 1000 companies in those organizations' overall security strategies and business initiatives. Additionally, Mr. LeDuc has advised numerous higher education institutions and government agencies focused on security and compliance ventures. With cyber and ransomware attacks increasingly targeting local municipalities, Mr. LeDuc’s expertise has enabled GovPilot to offer cutting edge IT and cybersecurity advisory services to municipal governments across the country.
