GovPilot Enters New York Market With Albany Partnership

By govpilot

GovPilot has announced its partnership with the City of Albany, NY to provide support for the City’s Code Enforcement and Assessor departments.

“We are extremely excited to partner with the City of Albany,” says Michael Bonner, GovPilotFounder and CEO. “As the state capital we feel there is no better place to start our expansion into NY than with Albany.”

The partnership with Albany came about as two departments within the City, Code Enforcement and the Assessor’s Office, were both looking for solutions. Code Enforcement was planning to replace their previous software with something that would provide more automation, while the Assessor’s Office was searching for a program that would allow them to anchor an electronic property card to an address, and automate 200ft radius searches.

According to Michael Bonner, “Rather than paying for two software programs that do not talk to each other, GovPilot can house Albany’s Code Enforcement and Assessors all on one system.”

GovPilot’s Code Enforcement solutions:

  • Automates case assignment, inspection scheduling, violation recording, and more.
  • Provides property-specific contact management and GIS integration.
  • Customizable with code and ordinance specific to each municipality.

GovPilot’s Assessor solutions:

  • Pre-loaded assessment data automatically populates forms, reducing human error.
  • User-friendly GIS interface gives visual insight into data.
  • Automate notification mailings with radius search and mail merge print features.

GovPilot’s scalable software solution helps cities like Albany cut costs by solving multiple departmental problems under one roof. “Once Albany is fully up and running with Code Enforcement and the Assessor’s Office, the goal is to bring more departments on board and create as much transparency within the town as possible,” says Bonner. “They are a very forward thinking city with a focus on technology, and we are grateful to Albany in usingGovPilot as the vehicle for some of their technological advancement.”
