GovPilot is a Software as a Service (SaaS) provider of government management software to local governments (Municipalities and Counties) across the United States and Canada.

This technology includes the digital transformation of operational and service based processes, as well as a public facing mobile application called GovAlert. GovPilot does NOT in any way serve as an official representative of any government entity that it contracts with.

GovPilot Customers

GovPilot provides a unified, cloud-based platform to local governments which fully digitize operations and services. Local government management software makes local governments (municipalities and counties) more efficient, responsive, and productive. By eliminating manual and obsolete processes such as paper forms, faxes, walk-in submissions, and replacing it with a end-to-end digitization and automated workflows, GovPilot helps local governments provide more efficient, cost effective, and convenient operations and services.

GovPilot customers are local governments (municipalities and counties) that typically sign a three or five year contract with GovPilot. One GovPilot offering or product that GovPilot customers deploy is a "Report-a-Concern" module which enables residents to easily report any non-emergency issue via the government's website or a mobile application called GovAlert. The constituent's concern is routed via an automated process to the relevant department (i,e to the DPW for a pothole concern), creating a timestamped record trail for transparency and accountability. The concern also appears on a public-facing GIS map so that government officials and residents can see all reported concerns and their status.

About GovAlert

GovPilot's Report-a-Concern feature and associated GovAlert mobile app is intended for reporting ONLY non-emergency concerns such as a pothole, a fallen street sign or code enforcement violation.

If you are experiencing an active life threatening emergency requiring first responders (Police, Fire, EMS) please dial 911 immediately.

GovAlert is a mobile application available to the public for download via the Android and iOS stores. The app uses location data to geotag the precise location of a resident or app user's concern so that it can be mapped and time stamped for the appropriate department to respond and resolve. For example if a user reports overgrowth on a parcel of land, the location will be plotted on the map using GIS coordinates.

Only local governments that have purchased the Report-a-Concern and GovAlert feature through a contract with GovPilot will be able to access this information, and app users will only be able to submit concerns within the jurisdiction of local governments which are GovPilot customers.

When setting up GovAlert, local governments can select the basic information they wish to capture from app users when they submit a concern. The default setting is:

Name (optional for user) ; email (mostly required) ; phone (optional for user) ; address (optional for user)

Increasing Public Safety

The primary objective of GovAlert is for residents who have GovPilot installed on their mobile device, to be able to quickly and conveniently log a non-emergency concern along with its location so that the relevant department from the local government can respond and resolve the issue as efficiently as possible.

Typically this has required a phone call, email, or walk-in visit to city hall, whereupon the concern must be manually conveyed and tracked. This resulted in very slow inefficient resolution, and frustrated constituents. GovAlert aims to solve that problem by providing convenience to constituents and high levels of efficiency, accountability, and transparency for local governments who contract with GovPilot.
