The property owner must submit this application, and waiver of liability and right of entry so that removal may occur by the company on private property. Tree trimming/removal is limited to two (2) trims per year and one (1) removal. Please note that if a crane is needed for tree removal, it is the responsibility of the homeowner to pay for the service. In addition, if a stump needs ground, it is the responsibility of the homeowner to pay for this service, whether the homeowner uses the tree company that the Village has a contract with or another tree company.

Tree service includes two (2) tree trimmings and one (1) tree removal per year.
This service can save the homeowner thousands of dollars. On average, the cost (outside the Village) of removing a tree could be $3,000.00 or more.
Equipment included in this service is – a bucket truck and chipper truck. The bucket truck is not a crane.
For safety reasons, if a tree is too large and/or unsafe to remove with the above equipment, a boom truck or a truck crane must be used at the homeowner’s expense.
Also, stump grinding is not included in this service and must be paid for by the homeowner. You may hire the Village’s tree service provider or choose a different vendor all together.

I, being the owner of the residence located in the Village of Cuyahoga Heights, Ohio, hereby apply for tree service as indicated above, and release the Village of Cuyahoga Heights, its Council and Officials, its representatives, employees and agents from any and all liability that may result from the performance of tree service as requested. I also allow the tree service provider to enter my premises, unencumbered and to bring the necessary equipment that would allow him/her to complete the tree service in the most economical, safe and efficient manner, and I release him/her of any and all liability for damages which may occur as a result of this request.
