In our latest release notes, three new capabilities stand-out for holding the potential to transform client efficiency, transparency and productivity. Allow us to introduce them.
They say that “those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it.” The first new feature on our list helps you retrace your steps and avoid the misstep of redundant data entry.
While viewing a record, clients can now click the “History” button in the upper right corner to access all changes made to the record.The button click triggers the appearance of a grid. Its left side shows the chronology of changes, while the right side shows which fields were impacted. Search by user, change reference number and a variety of flexible filters for a bird’s eye view of the record’s past. Like what you see? Click “restore” to revert to a previous version of the record.
2. New Property
GovPilot comes pre-populated with tax assessment information for every parcel in your district. We understand that the parcel count of a flourishing community doesn’t stay at the same number for long. New complexes are built, subdivisions are created and you need to keep track of it all.
GovPilot’s New Property feature allows you to add a property to your database, for any department to attach records to. The new property can be searched for, edited and otherwise updated to ensure that your city’s internal database reflects its external growth.
3. Shared View
Much like life, GovPilot is all about perspective. The platform’s filters are fully customizable, so users can easily find all of the information they need and none that they don’t.
The platform’s new view sharing capability allows system administrators to show their personalized perspective to other users in the department. GovPilot’s Shared View feature not only promotes collaboration, but organization. Views are grouped by process and those with the same name don’t override one another.
